GriefShare -

We know it hurts, and we want to help.

If you’ve lost someone close to you, or know someone who has, please call us to get more information about our weekly Grief-Share seminar/support group.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief, and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours.

You can find out more about the whole GriefShare program at their website at www.griefshare.org or on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/griefshare.

This free ministry is open to the whole community.  All are invited.
Meetings

Our next GriefShare series will meet every Wednesday in room 6 at Tabernacle from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. This series will run from August 14 through November 6.

There are 13 sessions and you should strive to attend them all. Each session is “self-contained” so you can attend out of sequence if necessary. You can find encouragement and help whenever you begin.

To find out more or to register, contact our lead facilitator, Dana Dunham, at (757) 871-6965 or tumcGriefShare@gmail.com. You can also find out more by contacting our church office at (757) 868-6842.

Additional GriefShare Sessions

We have heard of interest in additional GriefShare sessions on a different day of the week or even during daytime hours.  Please contact our lead facilitator, Dana Dunham, at 871-6965 or tumcGriefShare@gmail.com, if you would be interested in attending other than a Wednesday evening session.  Also contact Dana if you have been helped by GriefShare, or feel you can help others, and you might be interested in helping facilitate these additional sessions.  Help us to help others.
