Daily Schedule for Children, July 25 to 29, 2011
Vacation Bible School starts each weekday with a FREE dinner at 5:00 pm. The opening ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm. After that, the children will break up into small groups and each child will participate in many fun and exciting activities. Each day's activities end with a closing celebration starting at 7:35 pm. Parents and guardians are encouraged to observe the closing activities each day in the sanctuary.
Optional Adult Bible Study
Parents are invited to attend an adult bible study while your kids are at VBS. You’ll see and experience VBS first hand and also occasionally see your kids playing games, making crafts, and singing and dancing. Adults will study some of the historical accounts in the Bible like Gideon, Joshua, and Rahab, and see how they can impact our Christian journey. Each day will “stand alone” so come to as many as possible, once, twice, or hopefully, every evening! Our free nursery will be available for your children three years old and younger.
Celebration Sunday, July 31, 2011
The VBS Final Celebration will be on Sunday, July 31 at 11:00 am. All VBS participants and their families are invited to attend. The children will be singing and acting out some of the lessons they learned during the week. This will be a great opportunity to celebrate VBS with your children and the entire Tabernacle family. It will also be a great photo opportunity to see your kids having fun. Everyone is also invited to a FREE lunch immediately following the Final Celebration. A slide presentation will display the week’s activities during lunch.
