Scouting
The Scouting Program is a United Methodist Ministry by which youth and families can be nurtured and given an opportunity to know and learn about God and His great outdoors. Scouting provides fun, fellowship, and training to our youth 7 - 20 years in our church and community. It is a year round program that emphasizes honesty, self-reliance and respect, and builds character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
The Boy Scouts and Venture Crew help support the church with Eagle projects such as the outdoor chapel, church grounds, parking lot, and numerous projects throughout our community.
In 2010, we will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in the United States.
